The owner of the Treasure Chest is a darling lady who seems to know a lot about everything. We chatted for quite awhile. It's cash only and I had no cash, which I told her as soon as I walked in. She didn't rush me out the door or make me feel unwelcome. Her stock is amazing. She has everything. And she knows precisely where every item is. The shop is old fashioned and aisles are narrow. I wouldn't want to take a stroller or toddler in. I can't wait to go back with cash and indulge all my hobbies. You shouldn't pass up the opportunity to go.

When I went there to see what they had, I found that they had a lot of crafting stuff. Everything from dolls and doll parts to paint to knitting to puzzles! The prices were both high on some items and low on others, so you'd have to know if you find a good deal on something. My biggest frustration was how messy it was... most things were grouped together by type of item (yarn with yarn, fabric with fabric, dolls with doll parts, ect.) but everything was so packed in, disorganized, some fabric and yarn items were unlabeled, and most things were dusty and had cobwebs on them. If you don't mind the mess though, it's well worth a look.

You can definitely find some features here, but there is also quite a bit of, frankly junk! In shopping for acrylic paints, they had a huge selection, but then I got close and realized that They were either so old they had dried in the bottle, or so old the ingredients had separated..... ruined products (that were often even more expensive than Walmart!). However, if you're crafty and looking for a hodge podge place, this is definitely it..... you'll find a little of everything!
