I went to The Blue Horse about a month ago and absolutely loved it! We purchase a lot of the brands carried here and the prices were on par with what I’ve paid elsewhere. I always expect to pay a bit more for quality clothing. We live on the water so it was nice to have such a large assortment of nautical clothing/brands all in one place. Please don’t listen to the other reviews, the owner was beyond welcoming and kind. I will definitely be back next time we visit Mystic!

To all those complaining about masks, Margaret, the owner runs this store herself. She is elderly herself and has immuno compromised family members at home. To require masks does not and should not negatively impact a small business. She offers masks to anyone that needs one. You can’t wear a mask for 15 minutes while shopping to make the shop owner feel comfortable?! Shame on you!! The Blue Horse is the cutest children’s store with the most nostalgic toys! I got my daughter a cute wooden “pancake making” kit and she’s absolutely obsessed with it! Thank you Margaret!

A wonderful experience selecting birthday outfits for my grandsons! You won’t find a more unique, well-made selection of clothing for children than at this charming shop! I have shopped here for years and have always appreciated their attention to excellent customer service and attention to special packaging. Even items I have shipped arrive wrapped beautifully and always generate a lot of excitement about special gifts from this very special shop! Thank you for helping me to make my grandsons’ birthdays so memorable. They will be attending pre-school in tremendous style!

We stopped in on a whim to shop for our daughter while visiting Mystic. Very cute store, well organized and the woman running the shop that day was so kind and lovely. There are beautiful pieces of clothing in the store (we ended up purchasing a sweater and a dress), with styles and colors for every taste/personality. The store also sells toys, books, and would be a great place to go for putting together a children’s gift. Enjoy this gem in Mystic.

Very dark and cluttered, prices are very high. There was no one around until I was ready to leave and she looked at me didn’t even say hi, just can you put a mask on. I am completely fine with wearing it, but she was extremely rude. Will not spend those prices for a dark and dingy store. The boutique in the village is so much brighter, prettier and much friendlier.
