The vibe here feels like you’re shopping in your friend’s basement, which has its pros and cons. Once you walk in you’re greeted by a friendly staff, spaceships hanging from the ceiling, and storage bins of LEGO as far as the eye can see. There’s a good bit of unsorted inventory here, which if you ask they’ll probably sell, but I found on my last trip there were a lot of sets and minifigures clearly sorted for sale that didn’t have price tags. Everyone’s always helpful and they’ll get you a price, but it’s kind of cumbersome as a buyer to keep asking how much items are. One visit, I found an unpriced incomplete set I’d been tracking the price for on Bricklink and eBay, and the price they told me was marginally higher than a complete version of that set. This brings me to my next point. A majority of what’s sold are used, incomplete sets. This is good if you’re looking for a deal, but it can be hard to tell what’s actually missing. Of course, it’s a lot easier when the set is built on display in the glass case they have. But, it’s hard to determine whether or not you’re getting a value when you pull a bagged incomplete set from one of the plastic bins, since more often than not it’s not assembled. I wanted to buy a few sets from these bins, but I didn’t want to take any chances since I couldn’t really verify if important parts were there. This is something Boyertown does better, since more of their incomplete sets are built and not in plastic bags. I think Royersford could benefit from trying to complete more of their used sets, and pricing all of their for-sale items. I’ve had a good experience in previous visits, but my most recent visit left me disappointed which led me to this review. I hope this constructive criticism benefits the store, and benefits the people who want to come visit.

This is an awesome store and something much needed in the area. It’s got sets, figs, displays, and much much more. They allow you to trade in, sell your used LEGO by the pound, or for store credit, or even for a bit of cash. The bulk table is great for moc builders such as myself, and Is very affordable. All new sets are at LEGO retail price, so you can come here for sets rather than the LEGO store as long as you check availability. I would highly recommend stopping by here.

Interesting shop and the owner was very nice and took the time to explain the different products ( Pokeman cards and different Legos) to my grandchildren and myself. I would recommend visiting this shop.
