Friendly store full of helpful employees and a welcoming community of nerds. I came in here looking for a board game and while they did not have it in stock, the staff were super warm and gave me the details of events and BYOB and game nights on Friday. They have a great selection of games and nerdy gear and plushies too. I’ll definitely be back soon for one of their game nights. If you’re a nerd in the area— check them out!

Always a great time coming down. Great selection of cards and other great items. Played a couple games with my friends last week and felt very welcomed and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Attended a few MTG pre-releases here with no issues. Went in with some friends to play some 40k Kill team and was immediately greeted at the door. The employee (who may also be the owner) offered to help us get a table set up with the proper terrain, and checked in periodically to see if we needed anything. Overall a great place for TCG and tabletop. They also have a varied selection of board games and collectible figures!

Came here for the first time last week on a whim to see if they had any of the chase cards I’ve been looking for. They had what I wanted and more. The staff was very knowledgeable and really fair with pricing. I will definitely be back.

My wife and I were looking for a spot to prolong our night out. We almost never have a babysitter, and we wanted to take advantage of it. We found Phantasm Gaming, and decided to give it a look see. I am a RPGer, and my wife is a board gamer, and I love to visit gaming shops. We met the owner (Justin), who greeted us when we came in. He was very friendly, and happy to talk about his shop or give ideas on what to play. Having seen my local spot close, its great to see a place open for a year and looking like its doing well. There was lots of tables, and most of those tables were filled. Card games seemed to be the theme; from Magic the Gathering to games I am completely unfamiliar with. The owner actually offered to introduce us to some of the people, see if they wanted to get a game going. That sense of community is so great. They also had the obligatory Warhammer models available ,with paint and some tables with scenery to play on. Warhammer really isn't my scene, but its everywhere. The tables could probably be utilized for Battletech and Gaslands, which I am forever working on getting started in, so I could see looking in to a meetup for that happening when I get time. Five dollars to rent a board game sounds insanely cheap, so that alone is a great deal. The boards game available ran the gamut from Connect4 all the way to Pandemic. My only feedback would be adding some more cooperative games possibly. I know most people look to compete, but my wife is more of a co-operative gamer. Games like "Arkham Horror" may be a bit much for a pickup game, but any of the Forbidden series would probably be a good add. I didn't ask if there was pre-made magic decks to play, cause honestly, its been 30 something years since I played a game and it would be fun to play. I don't think my decks would hold up to the times. Anyways I am rambling; my wife and I will plan better and make another trip out this way to play games. It seems like a really cool spot, and I look forward to using it.
