Nice selection and friendly employees. But the prices are way too much. I'm actually surprised a store like this is still in business. There's about 3 Walmarts and 2 Target's in the surrounding area, plus you got Amazon. My daughter wanted a Coco melon toy from here. I got the same toy on Amazon for $15 cheaper.

Fabulous local toy store! The owner happened to be there that day and he personally helped me carry toys to my car because I couldn’t carry everything, so kind! Love to support local businesses and would highly recommend

Cute toy store filled with all kinds of toys, games and tchochkes - and not just for kids! Prices are a little on the high end, but not unreasonably so. Staff is friendly and eager to help when asked. If you're buying a gift and are having them gift wrap, this process can be a little slow, so budget your time well if you have somewhere to be afterwards. Also, be careful coming with a kid - they'll want EVERYTHING! Cute spot though :)

Matty's is a fabulous toy store. You'll find standard toys as well as a great selection of books, arts and crafts supplies and lots of creative things for kids of all ages. The Merrick location closed a few months ago but the RVC location is stocked way better than Merrick ever was!

RVC Matty’s toy shop, you lost a loyal customer today. I have purchased my children’s birthday gifts, Christmas gifts and any gifts needed for their friends birthday parties from you for years. Today I was making a purchase in the shop and received horrible customer service from one of the young girls working there. She was rude, insensitive and should not be working in a children’s store. I regret the $100 I spent there today, but my kids had already picked out their prizes. Someone should have informed her that customer experience is a very important part of owning a business, I would much rather shop local and buy from you over amazon, but after today, I do not want to return.
