Seeing as you guys don't have a Google review page for your crane machine location in Berkshire mall, I'll leave this here. Edit for luisa: it's valid for me to put this here because of the above paragraph. YOU own immaculate crane and games, YOUR card business is associated with your crane business because of how you represent yourself. This reply is no different than the people who justify scalping by saying "if i don't do it someone else will" hold yourself responsible to be a better business for the community. I came to immaculate claw and games on the opening night excited to have a local crane place to go and have fun instead of driving 40m to go to round one. Won several prizes that night, maybe 8-10 and lost several others. The claws seemed fair and balanced and gave the impression I had a chance in a skill based system. (Spent 50$ first night). Since then I have been back on 2-3 other days (50$ second time, and then 40$ dollars another time with my girlfriend) and didn't win a single thing. On the timing machines (pokemon packs or plushies) with a spinning roulette and a plunger to release the prize, i saw that there was a small delay after pressing stop and it would travel a little more but always go past the spot or stop right before it. Okay so I have an idea of how to stop it. But if I timed it right after pressing stop based on the other times it would instantly stop where I pressed, not consistent with other times. The claw games would perfectly grab a toy or plush and once it got to the top the claw would instantly drop the prize back down, again not consistent to the first day I was there or to the model of a skill based machine like a claw game. I'd even do the usual concept of 'it takes x number of plays to win' and try a machine after some else wasted a bunch of tries and not win. Seemingly putting in 10 dollars myself into a machine and not getting a plush or toy out of the machine when I grabbed it 8/10 times and it reached the top of the machine only to be instantly dropped. And you have the business model of trading in won prizes for other bigger prizes....but you have to actually win stuff for that. I'm not sure if the machines were set up to win more easily opening night to draw people in or if they can be changed later, but based on experience something isn't right. I understand you are not supposed to win every single time on claw machines, I understand that a business is set up to make money. But this is honestly so beyond disrespectful to the community, your customers, and in a way even yourself. These are toys that take pennies to make, you guys absolutely pay diddly squat for them to fill your machines and then can recycle them if people trade them in for other prizes that aren't even close to the money spent to win the other prizes. At this point I'd rather take the 40min drive to round one, spend 100$ there, and walk out with a ton more plushies because their games are actually fair and skill based than the 5minute drive to support someone local. I see no point in supporting someone who doesn't respect their customers.
