I went into Gamestop yesterday for Pokemon Day. I had just gotten off a long shift and it was close to closing. I walked in with low expectations of anything being left over to buy. The employee last night, Jamel, asked if there was anything he could help with. I told him why I was there. He pulled out the last Surging Sparks booster bundle from behind the counter and said he was saving it for anyone who couldn't make it in earlier due to work. I was beyond ecstatic, especially since it's been hard to come by Pokemon cards lately due to a shortage and scalpers. It made my entire day! Thank Jamel for thinking of people like me who can't be at these events early due to work. Wish all the retail events worked like this.

The employees at this GameStop are super sweet and took extra care & attention to any questions I had as soon as I walked in. Their knowledge on retro games & products was second to none and I highly recommend going to this store! I hope it stays open for many years to come because it is also the only retro GameStop store near me!

Terrible experience beware Tried forcing me into warranty 50 times. After saying no 50 times they tried to charge me for it anyway Bought xbox and they said i could return in 15 days. Now I want to return it 1 day later and they say only for unopened box. They told me over and over how if I wasn't satisfied I could just return it. Major ripoff Now I'm calling corporate trying to get a refund... if this isn't rectified I will no longer be a gamestop customer

Terrible experience. Once I walked in, the employee tried to push me off to another employee who was on break. I found that odd until I got to the counter and told him I was doing a trade in. Then it clicked, for some reason this particular employee doesn’t like doing trade ins. I told him what I was trading in and he just did a half smile and said “ok”. He took my item, plugged it into the machine and when he came back he told me the trade in price. I found it suspicious, as he lowballed me compared to the trade in estimate I received. The employee said the machine comes up with the price on its own. That’s false, the employee is the one who inspects the phone and inputs it into the machine. I don’t understand why the employee rated my phone lower than it was. Fed up, I took a two minute drive to another GameStop and received a different offer. Plus at this one, I saw the employee manually inputting the quality of the phone. What condition the screen and back was etc. All this to say THIS STORE SUCKS. Take the two minute drive into the mall. You’ll have a WAY BETTER experience.

Bought a PS5 with a warranty, controller stopped working was told at time of purchase would be able to exchange for a new controller with receipt and warranty sticker provided. Still had both brought to the store and was told need to exchange for a pre owned system. My system works fine I do not want a pre owned system to replace a controller nor do I want a pre owned system. Terms were changed on the warranty with out informing customer. Store will not honor an exchange neither will customer service. Was forced to purchase pro membership to buy PS5. They will not refund warranty. Shady business practices by GameStop. My business will be taken elsewhere moving forward. Poor customer service, poor job to help out a customer.
