Insanity. I used to love this gamestop but it’s just went downhill. With the craziness of pokemon, I waited 3 hours outside the store with other guests because we were told via the phone they would have product for purchase the next morning. Long story short after waiting 3 hours, the employee proceeds to tell us it was pre order only which completely contradicted what we were told via the phone the day before. Insane how employees cannot get a straight answer and not waste my time as a customer. This also happened a previous week where the sign on the door was completely wrong in totals and so many people wasted hours of their time because someone couldn’t count to 8!

Insane how poorly staff went here. I used to love this gamestop and felt at home. Recently when trying to buy pokemon cards, i can’t a straight answer from the staff, continuing to be lied to and pushed into buying pro memberships for no reason. I just literally wasted so many hours of my time thanks to an employee lying to a group of us telling us the day before that they didn’t have many but would have some for customers to purchase of the prismatic booster bundles on release day (3/7) After coming back the friday morning and waiting about 4 hours, the employee gets to the door and tells us that’s not the case and we wasted our time as it’s pre order only. Such a slap in the face I don’t know how communication gets ruined between not even a full 24 hours. These employees don’t have regard for your time and find it easier to lie to you to get you off the phone. Then while being there and getting told you cannot purchase after directly being told we could have is insane. Other people in line were saying this gamestop is known for miscounting often but i know it’s just straight up lies so employees can take them for themselves. Never coming back to this gamestop. Would give 0 if it was an option.

I'm simply dumbfounded by the amount of times I was pushed into buying pro. Everyone else who works there has always made me feel welcomed and comfortable in the store. Just very poor customer service, no customer should ever feel pressured to buy a pro membership. Instead of shoving the pro down people's throat how about you just make sure the customer feels welcomed and not pressured to buy something. I spit on your shoe

I was here on 11/29/24. The employee who helped me with an Xbox headset was very knowledgeable, patient, and had a lot of feedback I was looking for.
