Well organized store, great self check out registers, and a kind staff. The layout of the store seemed to have changed and I like it. The new layout makes much better sense and things are separated into sections. There's still so much stuff here that it's a bit overwhelming but it's fine once you figure out the layout. The staff was very friendly but the prices are definitely not 5 or below and I think the majority of the store is like that now. I like the new self checkout registers too. Before you'd be waiting in line forever but it's much faster checkout now

This is closer to the Downingtown area on the Lancaster Ave in a huge shopping mall that has Wegmans, Best Buy, and Bjs. There is plenty of shared parking available here. As you enter the shop, you will see gift wrapping sheets on your left and check out counters to the right. Then you will see seasonal items, small electronic items, toys, sugar ush area having chocolate and candies. Then, the style area has the bracelet, necklace, girls' items , theb it leads you to the sports section where you have the balls, etc, inside several bins. There is a five beyond area that contains a lot of tech items. If you are looking to get gift items or are looking to get something that you are in need, this is a place to shop. The staff is friendly to assist you and good service. The price point is mostly five below and good value to your money. Worth visiting contains huge variety !!!

This is unfortunate and upsetting. I’ve recently have gone to the 5 below in Downingtown and it’s a place with great products for affordable prices. Unfortunately, my recent visits haven’t been pleasant. I went in to buy 2 small items and when I reached the checkout stations, I was actually chased down by an employee. She proceeded to grad the items from my hands without warning and said it’s not self check out its associate checkout. I couldn’t even insert my card by myself. I felt extremely uncomfortable and frustrated. There is an employee checkout station, so why am I being assisted at SELF checkout? I’ve also had an employee check me out but leave others to do it on their own. It feels as though 5 below doesn’t trust their customers and how they’ve trained their employees to physically run up on customers when they check out is appalling. I know of some other locations that don’t do this and I may shop there instead if needed. Unfortunately, the Downingtown location needs some work done and will not be receiving my business any longer.

Well, I'm biased because of staff members, but even before I got to know them some, they were always pleasant and helpful. I've seen products left around the store during busy times, but the store itself is clean and the staff always seems to stay on top of problems.

I walked in right behind a Caucasian woman on 8/01/2024 and she was greeted with hi welcome to 5 below by the gentleman up front time 130 as I write not sure if was a manager but I was not greeted but of course being black I was asked if I needed help finding something stereotypical sad!!!! Last time shopping at this location and I'm sure I'm not the only one maybe others ain't speak up ashamed you can't shop in peace nor get greeted like a regular shopper
