What an awesome toy store! This place was out of a dream. Oh how I wish I could have gone here while I was a child. This was one of the best toy stores I have ever stepped foot in. They had a huge variety of toys in different sections with live demonstrations along the walking path. I stepped in just to live out the BIG scene on the big piano. I was worth the short wait outside the store to go in just to see. I can't wait to return one day with my kids.

Visiting FAO Schwarz in NYC on Christmas Eve was magical! The store was bustling with kids picking out their Christmas presents, which added so much excitement and energy to the atmosphere. The displays were incredible, and the staff did a fantastic job managing the crowds while keeping the holiday spirit alive. One unique feature is the Jellycat Diner, but be aware that you need a reservation to enjoy it. It truly felt like stepping into a wonderland of toys and joy. A perfect way to celebrate the season—I’d definitely recommend it for anyone in New York during the holidays!

We visited on 12/18/2024 when the store was extremely crowded … but festive holiday decorations, right?! 🤪 My 19-year-old daughter wanted to visit the Jellycat Diner to purchase some items. The store itself was cool, I only wish we’d visited another time during the year. We waited in a long line to enter the store, then it was challenging to move around once we arrived inside.

Absolutely amazing toy store located right at the Rockefeller Building. Spanning across 2 floors, this outlet attracts mainly families, young adults and tourists from all over the world. The Jellycats are the obvious attraction for plenty of visitors here as they queue for a specialized experience with their soft toys with an even greater selection at level 2 available. There’s also a build a bear section, barbie doll, star wars, Pop figurine, magic cards and more cool items which brings you back to your childhood. Prices are steep and be prepared to spend on these unique and somewhat limited edition toys - you don’t see these definitely in other countries easily or at other toy stores here, at least I have not! Staff are all dolled up to the occasion, very interactive and really engages the crowds very well with their toy demonstration or simply being a an on-ground ambassador.
