I usually don't like to say anything negative about a place, but I have traded and purchased from this store several years ago (I have proof). Those experiences were good, and I was able to complete my Xenosaga collection. So, when I decided to trade my SNES games recently, this place was my first thought. I did feel like it was fair, so the next day, I decided to do another trade for what most say at least $380 cash he only gave me $140 in trade. Why did I go through with it. I'm not sure, I have some health issues and was worn out, so I guess I just wasn't in the right mind. Now that I have had time to think about it and spoke with other retro game shops who agree without a doubt, this store took me for at least $180 cash, which should mean more in trade value. I should have know that he knew he was really slightly and some wasn't right, since while I was all ready at about $100 in trade, he said he had a game I would probably like on Switch and proceeded to take it out. I noticed that it was marked around $145 and would have been over the $100 more in trade than what he claimed I deserved. Though me an honest person, said something about it, and he told me, "I thought it was $40" so then he just put the game back and had to pick something else closer to his so called store credit. Also, while I was in the store, I said we'll how much he would give me for one of my items because I was trying to figure out what he was giving me for what. He then replied, " That has no value it a system pack in. However the day he had it up on his site for what I thought it was worth, then I inquired about another one he said at most it was worth $10 and showed him my app., he said "my app. was wrong and that it wasn't worth $30". The next I saw on his website, he had already sold it for $30, like I said! I do have the screenshot for proof besides the fact that I am an adult and my father was with me and heard everything he said. So, I took so things for trade to the Game Exchange in Media, and I have to say that's where I truly should have gone this whole time and the people who are willing to do right by all parties and has one of the best selection of games retro/current. Also they are very personable and warm, they care, they are a true game shop. I really feel like EE Comics & Games not only took advantage of and played. I think the only way I would ever go there again is that they reached out to do what is right.

EDIT: Contrary to the reply from the owner below, I did spend a good ten minutes comparing TCGPlayer pricing on my phone before opting to purchase. The shopkeep seemed rather occupied watching the Muppets on the shop TV, so perhaps this was missed by them. I inquired as to whether or not there was room to negotiate on pricing and they mentioned the prices were fixed, but no mention was made at time that they re-priced monthly. I buy frequently from stores all across the area and the most common (and in my opinion most customer friendly) practice seems to be to scan and price at point of sale comparing to TCGPlayer or some other comp. Understanding everyone has to make their margins but I don't like having my intelligence insulted. Went in to purchase some magic singles and was surprised at how far above market price the majority of them were advertised. I found some items in the case that weren't exorbitantly over market rate but I won't be back anytime soon considering how far above value these are being sold for. Buyer beware!

This place has some hard to find collectibles along with games for just about every console made starting with a decent, affordable ATARI 2600 collection along with controllers. Overall a pretty cool place.

Great selection of retro games and consoles. The owner helped me with my hunt for a CRT. Really happy with how everything turned out. Thanks so much.
