This was once my go to place for comics, but changes in management, staffing and stocking turned me off and I decided to go to Plattsburgh for a while. Then another more local place opened so I stopped going to Plattsburgh. Now, my go to place doesn't always carry everything so I shop between there and Earth Prime. Now I will admit that it has changed. Staffing for one is better and they are better on stocking and much more friendlier than when I had left them a few years ago. I'm still unclear on how stocking on Wednesdays is a early to mid afternoon thing where most comic stores will have new releases on the shelf at opening. This leads to my constant frustration, but what Store A doesn't have I can rely on Earth Prime mostly to have. The only thing is that I have to start my day of comic shopping later than I would like. But go e are the days of Wednesday stocking at 4-5pm though, so I suppose that is a win. The stores in Plattsburgh and Berlin have always said they don't understand why they can't ever get new releases out at Earth Prime at opening but maybe one day I will get that answer.

I live in rural TX, so don't get many opportunities to visit an LCS. On a recent road trip through VT, I dragged my lovely wife along for a quick pop-in to Earth Prime. She rolled her eyes a bit and agreed. Side note, her willingness to allow a grown man to entertain a childlike love of comics is one of the many reasons I love her so dearly. Back to the store. I'm currently on a hunt for back issues with covers including Galactus or Doom. I found a nice copy of Fantastic Four 243 for my collection (gotta love a great Byrne cover, right?), as well as a couple of others that I plan to have slabbed. Overall, they have a wide selection of new and back issues, as well as a very friendly staff. I hope to one day visit again and tick a few more off my want list!

This place is great. I don't know if it was the owner or employee. They were very friendly and knowdeglde about the Punisher Comics. Very organized and clean store. Top five Comic bookstores I have been to in the Northeast! When I am back in the area, I will be stopping by again!
