Came here while in Poughkeepsie to support a local shop. Spent 200 bucks on cards. The box I wanted cost 33% more than individual packs, so bought the box as individual packs. Was given a promo, but a few minutes later was asked for it back which left a bad taste.

I met the owner Steve when he stopped into my place of work for something and we got to talking about his business. I told him how I loved to play MTG in the early 2000s and he let me know he had an extensive library. I stopped in tonight to support local business and I was waited on by Nate. I threw a lot of information at him and he was able to accommodate my requests. I also encountered other extremely friendly staff members and spent about an hour in the store. It was great to talk to people who appreciated what I was after and I left with more than I came there for. I highly recommend you check them out!

A solid gaming store with lots of product and events. They had some new, handmade tables for their miniature games events and for their card gaming. Their selection of games for miniatures and cards was extensive, as well as their selection of gaming supplies.

Charging Near mint pricing on MP quality card. If I didn't need it for a tournament soon I would have waited to pick it up. Card has wear all around it. Definitely only come here if you absolutely can't wait for something to ship in. Update: went in today and talked with who I assume is the owner and he told me he priced the card at HP. While still higher then I expected definitely one I would have held off on. He did offer to return the card and give me my money back but I do still need it. So in that matter I consider it unresolved. The staff while quiet is helpful to the customers that came in. Overall it's your choice wether to go here or not. Personally after these last 2 trips I can say I probably won't be back unless I absolutely have to. Edit: went back last night and had a good time. The times on Google don't seem to truly reflect what time there open to. The card selection is not bad, compared to other shops in the area. Granted couldn't find anything off my current list. That's on me tho and being picky. They did have a color of sleeves I've been looking for, ended up buying them. Overall compared to my first time here, I have to say this trip was much better. Further Update: All I can say is this is easily on the of the best if not the best game store in the poughkeepsie area. The staff after going in couple of times is super nice and helpful. The selection after looking at it more and not being as picky. They have a amazing selection. My wife and I are both big commander players, modern players, and legacy players. We might be moving to the area and I've been looking for a good LGS and this one is definitely the best in this area that we've found.
