The employees at this location make it far and away one of the best anywhere. The polite and helpful security guard Hassan, always opening doors for elderly customers, and store manager Teresa who is so patient, responsive, and informative in helping my elderly father. They are also smart about their merchandising, featuring two tables of Taylor Swift related titles. Location also includes a Starbucks and good amount of seating.

Always a nice store. Clean and well stocked with courteous staff. I would give 5 stars except for the area it's in. There are always panhandlers outside (some will even follow you to your car). They have a security guard as the bathrooms are locked. You need to obtain a code from the staff to use the restroom. It's really sad that Waterbury has gotten this bad. I hope the store doesn't end up closing.

Went to get a few gifts for a birthday with my elderly mom. She had to use the bathroom. To my surprise the bathroom is locked. To have access you must use a code printed on your receipt. Needless to say I did not got the opportunity to look around. Rather got my stuff from home, online and from another vendor. Let’s not complain that people rather buy online when the store makes the experience to go there very uncomfortable.

I went to Barnes & Noble to look for a marketing book. I stood at the desk for about 22 minutes. I saw the c/s man he refused to come over to the desk then after I left the desk. I came back and He had somebody at the desk with him. He saw me approaching the desk he looked at his watch and he just walked away from the desk. He is longed haired and had tattoos on both arms. I think this is ridiculous. He is in a community where everybody deserves help there should be no prejudice here there’s diversity all over the world. I should not have been treated like that. I am at the bookstore and it is disgusting. What’s going on in here? He refuse to assist me he is customer service. He walked away and he left.

I love actual books. Customer service was helpful. It is horrible that a hardcover book costs 30.00 and the ones on the Kindle or nook are way cheaper.
